Advisor Support Specialist

We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Advisor Support Team. This person’s primary responsibility will be to provide a high level of support for our financial advisor customers.

  • Acting as the subject matter expert on all aspects of our web application covering portfolio reporting, billing and rebalancing
  • Training advisors on the Portfolio Pathway system capabilities available by completing one-on-one sessions
  • Reviewing customer requests with a sense of urgency seeking out potential solutions
  • Working with other teams for resolutions to issues and following through to completion
  • Owning communication on issues to customers including updates, resolution, and root cause
  • Assist with the onboarding of new customers
  • Assist with special projects for both customers and internal needs
  • Providing assistance to advisors by highlighting additional features which would be beneficial to their overall business
  • Assisting with performance measurement questions
  • Overseeing quarter-end processing of quarterly performance statements
  • Strong written, listening and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively facilitate and conduct meetings with clients
  • Ability to manage difficult customer situations
  • Ability to act with professionalism and diplomacy when communicating with a customer
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues utilizing creative and critical/analytical thinking skills
  • Ability to work effectively both individually and within a team environment
  • Comfortable with new and changing technology
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Effective problem solving, time management and organizational skills
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of account management or customer service experience
  • Finance knowledge a significant plus

Job Type: Full-time, approximately 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
